Admin/Biographical History |
Lancaster's first County Treasurer took office at the formation of the county in 1729. In 1781, County Commissioners were empowered to appoint the Treasurer. This office receives all sums paid to the County pays out all money spent by the County following warrants drawn out by the Commissioners. |
